Cinch PR was engaged by The Jay—a luxury hotel in downtown San Francisco—in March 2023 to support the property’s reopening after a full rebranding and multi-million dollar renovation.
During the pre-opening phase, Cinch collaborated closely with The Jay to craft comprehensive branding elements, key messaging and spokesperson quotes, talking points, and a grand opening press release. This strategic effort was aimed at vividly narrating the property's unique story and effectively countering the negative press surrounding travel in San Francisco. In addition to providing media a pre-opening exclusive preview, Cinch advised The Jay on planning for several Grand Opening events, and managed all invite outreach for both media and influencers.
Post-opening, Cinch continued dedicated media and influencer outreach to secure a steady stream of local and national coverage, driving business and leisure bookings for The Jay, while also supporting the visibility of The Third Floor lobby restaurant and bar.
